New: ClimECO2 international Summer School: Oceans, Marine Ecosystems, and Society facing Climate Change - A multidisciplinary approach - co-organized by IUEM , IMBER and Europôle Mer, Brest, France, 23-27 August 2010.
Partial financial support to attend this school is possible for PhD students, post-doc, engineers, lecturers and researchers working on topics related to “oceans and climate change”and coming from developing countries, or belonging to the IRD network (Southern countries).

Erasmus Mundus Master of Science in Marine Biodiversity and Conservation (EMBC). The study program focuses on 3 thematic modules: (1) Understanding the structure and function of marine biodiversity, (2) Toolbox for investigating marine biodiversity, (3) Conservation and Restoration of marine biodiversity. This Erasmus Mundus Master is offered by a University consortium consisting of 6 partners (Ghent, Bremen, Algarve, Oviedo, Paris and Klaipèda). Scholarships are offered for both European and Non-European students.
