Fully-funded Fellowship: UN-Nippon Programme call for applications
The United Nations – the Nippon Foundation of Japan Fellowship Programme is now accepting applications for the 2011-2012 session. The major objective is to provide funded opportunities for advanced capacity development in the field of ocean affairs and the law of the sea and related disciplines to Government officials and other ocean-related professionals from developing States.

New: Erasmus Mundus-UNESCO-IHE 2011 Scholarships
The Erasmus Mundus Masters Course on Flood risk management is offered by the consortium consisting of UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education (the Netherlands), the Technical University of Dresden (Germany), the Technical University of Catalonia (Spain) and the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia).
Successful students will receive 3 MSc degrees from UNESCO-IHE, TU Dresden and UPC Barcelona. A number of attractive fellowships will be available, which will cover tuition fees and living expenses.

TWAS Fellowships for Research and Advanced Training f or young scientists in developing countries to spend time at a research institution in a developing country other than their own. The purpose of the programme is to enhance the research capacity of promising scientists, especially those at the beginning of their research career, helping them to foster linkages for further collaboration.
